Crazy Crafty: An Invite to Paint

As I look out the window today, it looks like Spring has sprung!  For me, that means it is close to the time when I can enjoy the peace and quiet of the campground where we keep our camper.

Because our summers are usually spent out at the camper as much as possible, I am in the process of planning out projects for my painting class for the remainder of the year.  It helps reduce my stress level.

This month’s project is a cute Spring Welcome Sign.  seiders post pic 3

I was asked by a popular decorative painting retailer way back in December 2011 to design some resin figurines for their April catalog and my students loved them. So, that will be our project for May.seiders post pic

In June, I am planning to paint a 4th of July project consisting of a boy and his dog dressed up to march in their local 4th of July parade.

Then for July, I am planning to paint a Christmas serving platter.

Have any of you ever wanted to learn to paint?  My class is held every Tuesday from 11am to 1pm and 6pm to 8pm at Hobby Lobby in Kenosha and I would like to invite you to join the class!!  My projects are designed for painters of any level so, if you have never tried it before, its just fine!  Our class motto has become “we can fix it”!!  🙂   If you are interested, just let me know.

  1. Karen, you do such a great job! I would love to take one of your classes one day, right now I simply don’t have the time. But I do look forward to seeing your 4th of July project, it sounds very cute!
