This ministry exits to reach out to women for Christ, nurture them in their faith, involve them in ministry by using their spiritual gifts and talents, engage the next generation, and support our local church as we serve and promote its vision & values.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Esmeralda Randle is leading Strengthening Women Ministries. Born and raised in Mexico until she moved to the States at the age of fourteen. At the age of 21 she received the free grace of God and gave her life to Christ. She and her husband, Jon, have been married since 1999 and have four young boys. She’s been a member of Missio Dei Fellowship since 2000 and has served in various ministries, and is currently serving as a Deaconess.
As a stay-at-home mom, when she’s not tending her family and home, she’s reading a book, painting an old piece of furniture and/or spiritually mothering some young ladies at her home!
Her delight is seeing women use their gifts and creativity to further the gospel, bless their homes, and strengthen the church.
Collaborator:
Elizabeth (Liz) Roeder has been married to her high-school sweetheart, Bruce, for 36 years and has been his helper in ministry for the past 15 years. She is the mother of Justin and his lovely wife, Missy and recently became a grandma to Ian. Liz works for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in an electrophysiology/cardiology practice as a physician scheduler coordinator.
Liz’s idea of relaxing is being outdoors enjoying God’s creation whether it be taking a walk, bike riding, bird watching or working in her flower garden. Liz enjoys “antiquing” with her husband and likes to look for items to decorate her home.
Liz has been involved in women’s ministry in various capacities for the past 15 years. She completed the Reigning Grace Counseling Ministry biblical counseling training at a previous church and has a heart to disciple women and see them grow in Christ.
Event Coordinator:
Angie Arthur became a believer the summer of 2001 after attending a youth convention and being presented with the gospel. She attended the University of Wisconsin Parkside and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She was the main marketing associate for Access Electronics and did most of the graphic design for the company.
She is married to Jake Arthur and has three cute daughters, Jaina, Gracie, and Olivia. She loves to teach dance to adults and kids.
Her and her husband started attending Missio Dei Fellowship in the spring of 2009 and have loved everything about it. Missio has been a place where she has been drenched in God’s Word, not only in Sunday service, but also by the body.
